Struck with GDPR

Tuner_desk If you had availed any service from a company that handle European's data or a company headquartered in European Union's soil, then you would have come across this term 'GDPR' anyhow - General Data Protection Regulation. Either in the form mails or as headlines in European watchdogs , you would have came across this term. Those mails are not actually the one, which has to be marked as spam, or a mail that has to be considered as one of the marketing mails often inboxed by firms. It is a kind of adversary report inboxed by the companies to let you know that the traditional data handling policy in the European Union has been changed, and from 25, the newly drafted legislature, GDPR is on effect. Privacy experts and some business experts globally accepted the new legislature, which allows the user to become the only authority to decide the usage of his/er data by a firm. But the demands mentioned in the draft that seeks immediate upgrade of security systems which the companies have opted to protect data, and several other restrictions imposed in data collection worries some big shots in EU and America. Even, the websites of some media outlets, which were failed satisfy the EU demands- according to new law, experienced block out in and Europe lands. However, GDPR has lot many pros and some cons in data management. Will GDPR affect companies, if shares are shared by group of people? Yes, it might affect, but not big as bankruptcy. *Since 25 May, the data collection process made by EU companies for the purpose of market survival and business improvement is stopped. So, the EU companies and companies that handle EU data are pushed to choose an alternative, if they really want the user to stay connect. The traditional way of data collection through P2P marketing is what the most recommended step by the experts. It can be opted, if they want their consumer to remain with them. This method might increase the employment opportunities in marketing sector in EU companies and of course improve P2P marketing. *Another happy news to individuals, not companies is the data ownership. Rather than depending on junks, which has been protecting users from eavesdropping culprits on data collection, GDPR gives the power of claiming data ownership to users. EU demands the firms to upgrade the level of security they provide, and privacy policy. This might boom the IT industry and increase employment opportunities to the people in IT sector. * The GDPR could become a bane for upcoming social media firms. Also, the existing tech giants such as Google, Facebook and Twitter might face little trouble in satisfying the user demands in seconds. If they use stuff like Xkeyscore, they could survive. But not until or unless, they are handcuffed.
