Are you a meme creater, then here is a exclusive interview made by DailyTuner with 'Madipakkam Trolls' about the meme creation.The page 'Madipakkam Trolls' has been posting various memes for past six months. Interestingly, the memes posted are mostly related to community based, which attracted the Chennaities in large scale to like the page. Siting Anonymity, the page admin shared the experience and the meme creation process with us. 'Along with my three friends, I started MadipakkamTrolls page in January and posting variety of community based memes. At present, we have got 6,830 likes in our page. Many areas in Chennai have their own memes pages, but for Madipakkam there is one page, which is less active. So, we tend to start an exclusive page for Madipakkam to entertain our areas residents. Now, we are in sixth month after a successful reach among Madipakkam youngsters. Mostly, we focus on Madipakkam and sometimes we even post memes related to Puzhuthivakkam,Nanganallur,' Says an page admin.
On asked about the meme templates creation , he said, 'Sometimes, we take templates form other pages. But mostly, we depend on Youtube videos . A soon as we get the targeted video, we make a screenshot of what we need. But before these things, we finalise the concept on what we planned to post a meme. Then, we edit the screenshot and make the meme by relating the screenshot to the content and concept. After that, we post it in our page and wait for likes, comments and shares.'
While discussed about meme making, he said, 'If template is ready, within 5min will complete the meme. But mostly, we spend around 10 -15 mins for creating a meme. In this meme creation, the most harder part is finding the comedy clips and template suitable for the concept. Hopefully, till now, we were able to post atleast one meme in a day. Due to work schedule, sometimes we fails to post. But, we are trying to do our best and memes regularly.' 'We are four people in total,even if one gets busy with college work, the other takes up the stand and create memes. Till today, we post more memes on entertainment factors than for a social. But in future, we may post.Meme should not created to abuse or insult someone. Meme creators motive should be creating memes to enteratain. That's it. I have to thank everyone for supporting us through likes and comments. We feel proud to post memes, because of being an entertaining factory to large number of youngsters,college students, school students and even senior citizens,' he concluded.
