Unlike the data transmission, Sony- electronic giant set for their mission in discovering wireless charging system in portable devices.
According to the recent news, Sony has registered for seeking patent rights for its working project. This project missions at wireless charging through Near field Communication (NFC) in smart devices. Through this innovative technology, it is observed that, usage and adoption of power banks may apparently reduce. Just because of Sony's new plan. And we are humans, who always prefer easy and innovation, especially while handling technology. Holding that in mind, Sony has underwent to this project.
Looking onto NFC- It is quite similar to Wireless hotspot mechanism, but here it transfers data between two devices which are close to each other in certain distance. Tilting, 'Configuration of Data and Power Transfer in Near Field Communication' patent says that, 'Any portable electronic device handled by consumers with the presence of NFC chips in both the devices has the ability to transfer power as much similar to data transfers what we does through hotspot connection'.
And the patent doesn't explain about its availability in device category. So, there is a chaos, whether it is smartphones or any other devices. The idea of Sony is on starting stage, but the vision behind the idea results with power transmission through air.
