Today, smart phones have been emerged as major way of communication. Unlike other IoT devices, it has become one of the commonly used one. And these Smart phones are widely used to transfer files, money and also to store other credentials information, such as passwords, Banking details, etc.


Before entering into the debate ,Today everything we use are turning online and we are adapting it. But there is a question,Why and what made to become online? The most probable answer from many users is 'It's easy and portable to us'. To be noted, Reducing complications may lead to security mishap. And now, technology has been adapted to relax complicated things and make the user to access it easy, but it also opens the back door to security violators.

Especially, when you are using unknown user's wifi or public wifi, the chance of getting hacked is more high. So, be aware about your credentials when you are using public WiFi. It is found that, a smartphone user can be hacked, when he is on walking or jogging around streets in Chennai.

Jason Street, a renowned hacker demonstrated this in public place and accessed many users credentials, who uses his wifi network. He initialised a legitimate WiFi network encoded with Evil Twin attack and allowed the public to access his network. And eventually, he gained access to the victim's credentials, who accessed his wifi connection.

To stay away from these attacks, Pwnie research centre have suggested some points as such to turn off wifi- when you not use it , change passwords regularly and try to learn about the product, which you planned to buy.

Apart from all, Upgrading the firmware with regular updates reduces your device from getting vulnerable.
