Techie and tricky slap

This year seems to be the most critical one as ever in tech world. Though this is the first month, many corporates, organisation and even governments of various nation lost their money to Hackers. While having a look into this, around 90% of money laundering is caused by ransomware's .
What is this ransomware?
This is an malware created by many hackers, security researchers and cybercriminals to earn money by locking the victim's computer files. These malware's are injected into some third party websites and apps in online. And when the user visits the website, then the it will infects the computer and lock the files in hard drive. To get the files back, ransomware demands the user to pay ransom to the injector.
The most crucial thing in this process is with the security which the hackers prevents him from get traced. And the question may arise that, why can we find the hacker behind it, through bank transaction? In earlier days, this might be the useful technic to find them, but now hackers are so brilliant than we think. Because, the demanded ransom will be asked to transact through Bitcoins. And the Bitcoin's is used by cybercriminals, politicians and hackers across the world, just because, it is an encrypted one and untraceable.
To be precise, notable attacks with ransomware alone has shaken the tech world to most of its extent. During the inauguration of President Donald Trump, Cybercriminals had infected 70 percent of storage devices with ransomware, which recorded the data from feds surveillance cameras on Washington DC.
And the pre-planned ransomware attack on a private hotel in Austria. This seems to pre-planned, just because it locks the electronic doors in that hotel, after the customers entered. And the Cybercriminals demanded ransom and they hotel paid to them. But they left a backdoor on hotel's server to attack later on. Hopefully, hotel's IT team managed to close the back door.
And looking onto these two attacks, it is happened, due to old servers and softwares. And till now, there is no software or program to kill these ransomwares. But there are procedures to protect from these attacks. If you upgrade the firmware and other key modules regularly as soon as received, then you are safer side. Try to avoid untrusted antivirus and firewall software installation in PC.
